Michelle, also known as ‘May Cat’ is a tattoo artist living in Adelaide, Australia. Although she started her career in tattooing in 2021, Michelle has long been involved in the local visual art scene, exhibiting her watercolour illustrations and paintings in numerous exhibitions along with taking part in the local zine making scene. Art has always been a huge part of her life, being inspired by 80’s/90’s videogames and manga since young.
Her stylistic focus in tattooing is Neotraditional and fine line stipple designs. Michelle enjoys exploring soft muted colours, textures, varying line weights, flow and form. If you ask her to tattoo anything involving animals, florals, magical cottage-core vibes, high fantasy or anime/manga, no doubt she’ll be super excited for your project!

In Meg's own words -
"I started tattooing in February 2023 and have been loving the opportunity to tattoo and meet all sorts of new people! I love Illustrate and fineline blackwork tattoo, and some of my favourite subjects matter is nature themed. I'm bit shy and introverted and that's why art is such an important aspect of my life as it allows me to be as loud and expressive as I want throughout my work. I have being doing art for as long as I can remember, and love to do realism portraiture for fun. I'm a big nature and animal lover, who can make a mean cheesecake."
